Dr. Saito’s Observations: Similarly to Peter Bishop, Agent Lee is a strange case. He lived a perfectly normal life as a FBI agent, however, on September 23, 2012, his partner was killed by a shapeshifter. This event led him to join Fringe Division to get to the bottom of the murder. Agent Lee ended up being a sort of pseudo-Francis for Fringe Division. He ended up covering some of the tasks that Agent Francis did while he was alive. Since Agent Lee was more involved with the Division, he ended up forming a close bond with Dr. Bishop as a chess partner and also was subjected to experiments by the doctor when he also became infected by a hybrid creature’s DNA.

He became deeply involved with the Fringe cases leading up to August 27^th when he disappeared during the case. The files regarding many of the cases in 2012 are heavily edited to keep people outside of the cases in the dark. Possibly for our own safety, but I was able to make out the words Other Side, blacked out on the August 27^th case file. Perhaps Agent Lee went to this “Other Side” during this case, but for the official records, he is dead.
